PCOS causes difficulty losing weight. I have tried Weight Watchers in the past just to fail after following the program for 2 weeks. It’s discouraging . . . and when my chances for diabetes goes up with PCOS, I REALLY need to get motivated to lose some weight.
My RE suggested a high protein/low to no carb diet, but that’s just hard!!!
So I’m doing my own. I am doing a juice fast for both detox and weight loss. At first, I’m going to juice breakfast and possibly lunch and have a sensible dinner. Then, after we get back from the in-laws this weekend, I’ll do a full fast for . . . probably 2 days to start. I would like to eventually do a 30 day juice fast. Everything I have read said to start slow. So I can’t jump into that yet . . . not that I have that kind of willpower!!!!
Breakfast was blueberries, mangoes, peaches, strawberries, spinach, and whey protein (in blender).
Lunch was . . . 1/2 hamburger
and fries . . . see, ZERO willpower!!!
Dinner will be Subway because Ethan has a soccer game.
That’s fairly sensible . . .
Wish me luck . . .

Hello! Just saying hi!!!
Good luck with your diet–there was a time when I didn’t really have a desire to eat fruit because of the mess (I’m strange and think it’s a hassle to eat an orange because of the mess), but then I discovered frozen fruit! I love frozen cherries and raspberries–they are so good to eat right out of the freezer.
I like fresh kiwis and pears too–yum!
Subway is good!

I so need to go back on my diet. I gained a few pounds during Christmas and now have added a few more. (14 total) After loosing 90 pounds after my last child was born, I do not need to gain it back. It was hard enough to lose the first time!
Good luck and let me know how the juice fast goes.
